The following decades saw strategic expansion: the launch of mechanical seals in 1983, glow plugs in 1984, and the establishment of TAKUMI SPARK PLUG EUROPE Gmbh in 1990 to oversee European operations.

Building a Flagship Ignition System Portfolio
Through dedicated research and development, Takumi introduced ignition coils and high-voltage wires after a decade-long effort. This milestone allowed the company to offer a complete, integrated ignition system, which has since become its flagship product line, renowned for performance and reliability.
